Milano Look Up! 7 beauties to see by looking up

After all the ancient Italian cities where there are the most appealing beauties are there on the streets you probably find Milan "new" and maybe a bit "industrialised". This is why “How on earth will I live in this awful city?” was my first reaction.  It took me some months to discover the beauties of Milan. 

First of all in Milan you have to discover the beauties, they won’t show themselves like in other cities. So what to look up for?

1) Did you now Milan is one of the most colourful cities? Just lift your head up and enjoy different colours of the buildings. While you are in Navigli, look up and see the rainbow coloured buildings and appreciate them. Then sit on a bar and sip your cocktail.

2) Milan is known for the shopping experience so while you are enjoying yourself in Viale Montenapoleone look down. Among the tiles on the pavement you may find personalized tiles such as this Versace one.

3) I don’t  know why Milan isn’t famous for its sunsets. But it literally has the pinkest sunsets. No matter where you are look up and enjoy the view of pink clouds.

4) There are some streets where you should walk and enjoy the beautiful buildings: Walk in Brera District, Via Cappuccini, Corso Como.

5) While you are in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele look at the walls with cameos and the beautiful glass ceiling.

6) Porta Genova, Zona Tortona & Via Savona for the artsy movements and cool boutiques.

 7) Of course the gothic beauty of Duomo. Each sculpture is different from each other
